Holland America Line has announced its full 2027–2028 Legendary Voyages collection, featuring a series of immersive, long-duration cruises highlighted by the line’s first Caribbean-based Legendary Voyage, the 28-Day Pan Am 100 Years Legendary Voyage, and the 28-Day Solar Eclipse & Cosmic Port Explorer.

The season also marks the return of guest-favourite itineraries, including the 47-Day Ultimate Mediterranean & Atlantic Passage and a refreshed 28-Day Legendary Amazon Explorer, now sailing roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale in January 2028.

“Our guests are always looking for adventures that feel personal and unforgettable, whether that’s following the paths of ancient explorers, watching a solar eclipse at sea or spending unhurried time in some of the world’s most storied cities,” said Paul Grigsby, Holland America Line’s vice president of revenue planning and deployment.

“These new Legendary Voyages tap deeply into those desires, blending historic routes, rare access and extraordinary port time with the premium onboard experience our long‑time cruisers return for again and again.”

Voyage Highlights:

47-Day Ultimate Mediterranean & Atlantic Passage
Returning in 2027, this roundtrip New York sailing visits 21 ports in 12 countries, with overnight calls in Alexandria and Istanbul, plus a late-night stay in Civitavecchia (Rome).

28-Day Pan Am 100th Anniversary Legendary Voyage
Developed in partnership with Pan Am World Airways, this special sailing departs Oct. 30, 2027, from Miami aboard Zuiderdam, retracing historic Clipper routes through the Caribbean, Mexico, and Latin America. The itinerary visits 18 destinations, nearly half of which appeared on Pan Am’s original schedules, and features themed programming celebrating the golden age of travel.

28-Day Legendary Solar Eclipse & Cosmic Port Explorer
Departing July 10, 2027, aboard Nieuw Statendam, this roundtrip sailing from Rotterdam or Dover visits 13 ports across Europe and North Africa. Guests will witness a solar eclipse at sea off the coast of Morocco and explore archeoastronomy through excursions to sites such as the Alhambra Palace and Montjuïc Observatory in Barcelona.

Legendary Voyages feature enriched onboard programming designed to reflect the scope of the itineraries, including themed events and dinners, cultural performances, a resident classical ensemble, creative workshops, religious services, and premium touches such as commemorative gifts and a Captain’s Gala Dinner.
