Nile Rodgers & CHIC to Headline Virgin’s Red Hot Sailing Club Voyage
by Marsha Mowers
Virgin Voyages is turning up the volume in 2026 with the return of its signature music-themed sailing—now rebranded as the Red Hot Sailing Club Voyage, with Grammy Award-winning icon and disco pioneer, Nile Rodgers & CHIC.
Formerly known as the Celebration Voyage, this newly evolved experience will set sail March 12, 2026, aboard the brand’s newest ship, Brilliant Lady.
The nine-night Caribbean itinerary will visit Puerto Plata, Antigua and Barbuda, St. Kitts, and Virgin Voyages’ exclusive Beach Club at Bimini—each chosen to reflect the vibrant, high-energy ethos of the Virgin brand.
“Nile Rodgers is the perfect artist to kick off this new chapter of our Red Hot Sailing Club Voyage. He’s spent decades breaking boundaries and bringing people together through music, which is exactly what we’re all about,” said Jamie Douglas, Director of Design, Innovation & Immersive Experience.
“This evolution of our Celebration Voyages reflects our commitment to creating deeper connections with our Sailors. When you have a legend like Nile performing beneath the Caribbean sunshine, you know you’re in for something truly special.”
Known for recent hits like “Get Lucky” with Daft Punk and “Cuff It” with Beyonce, this Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy Lifetime Achievement winner helped shape the very sound that defined Virgin Records’ golden era. As the mastermind who produced David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance” and Madonna’s “Like A Virgin,” Rodgers was foundational to Virgin’s rise as a label known for fearless, innovative pop.
This announcement marks a full-circle moment: Rodgers’ groundbreaking sound was instrumental in shaping Virgin Records’ musical legacy during its early rise.
