Long-time cruise industry professional Beverley Vickers has announced she’s taking an early retirement.

Vickers, director of sales and marketing for Canada at Regent Seven Seas Cruises, is set to retire at the start of next month. Her final day at Regent will be Nov. 1, 2024.

The Ontario-based marketing professional has built an impressive career in the travel industry, working for brands such as Marriott Hotels, Princess Cruises, and Cunard Line.

“I’ve had an incredible career in the cruise industry with 14 years at Princess and 14 years at Regent,” she told Pax. “Being part of both companies was amazing, but particularly Regent, for having a role in them growing from the small, privately held business it was in 2010 to the six luxury-ship fleet owned by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings it is today.”
