Scenic Unveils 2027 Europe River Cruise Collection

The Scenic Aria is coming to Portugal’s Douro River in 2027.

Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours has released its 2027 Europe River Cruising & Land Journeys brochure, showcasing a collection that spans 15 countries and 12 waterways. Highlights of the program include a new ship on the Douro River and new culinary-focused journeys across Central Europe and France.

Canadian travellers can opt to enjoy a single river cruise, combine multiple rivers into one seamless journey, or pair a sailing with a land tour or extension.

New Curated Culinary Journeys

A Taste of the Danube – A Culinary Cruise (Departs May 22 & September 4, 2027)

The rich culinary diversity of Central Europe is explored on a 10-day journey along the Danube. From cooking demonstrations and wine tastings to brewery visits and curated dining, your clients can discover a new perspective on one of Europe’s most iconic rivers.

Tastes of the Rhône – A Culinary Cruise (Departs April 26 & July 26, 2027)

An 8-day culinary river journey will bring the famed flavours of the south of France to life. The Rhône Valley itinerary will showcase two of France’s most captivating rivers.

New Ship on the Douro

In 2027, the new Scenic Aria will join the fleet, beginning its inaugural season on Portugal’s Douro River in September. This “ultra-luxury Scenic Space-Ship” will sail alongside Scenic Azure, offering guests expanded access to the region through signature itineraries, the 11-Day Unforgettable Douro and 8-Day Delightful Douro.

More by Land

Scenic’s escorted city stays and land extensions are designed to complement each river cruise, creating a seamless and flexible travel experience. In 2027, new land tour extensions in Amsterdam, Berlin and the French Riviera will be introduced, giving guests more opportunities to explore Europe’s iconic cities.

New 5-Star Luxury Land Journey in Switzerland

In 2027, Scenic will debut a new 13-day land journey dedicated entirely to Switzerland. Travelling by coach, panoramic rail and picturesque mountain routes, guests will explore from Lake Geneva to the iconic peaks of Jungfraujoch and Mt. Titlis, while discovering the alpine charm of Zermatt and the Italian-influenced elegance of Lugano.

13-Day Iconic Switzerland (Lausanne ↔ Zurich, operating in both directions)

The Scenic Opal on the Danube.
