Collette’s Newest Cultural Journey: Balkan Dreams and Mediterranean Scenes

Collette’s newest cultural journey promises Balkan Dreams and Mediterranean Scenes.

Collette is inviting Canadian travellers to dive into the soul of Southeastern Europe with immersive experiences and authentic cuisine with its newest cultural journey: The Balkans: From Coastal Croatia to Legendary Greece,

The 16-day tour winds through eight destinations across five countries, starting at $6,999 per person.

Guests will enjoy a thoughtfully curated itinerary by local experts that blends rich history, local traditions, and culinary delights. From the cobbled streets of Dubrovnik to the ancient wonders of Athens, travellers will uncover the soul of the Balkans through authentic encounters and unforgettable sights.

Guests will experience delicious culinary moments, from preparing traditional bread in Karanac to savouring Albanian dishes and folk entertainment in Tirana. In Sarajevo, they’ll experience Bosnian hospitality firsthand, with a home-cooked meal and traditional music. The tour also includes a powerful ‘Impact Moment,’ where they will meet a siege survivor and gain personal insight into Sarajevo’s wartime past.

“This tour tells the story of the Balkans through its people, places, and traditions that invites travelers to experience the region beyond the surface,” says Diana Ditto, Vice President of Product Marketing and Growth Strategy at Collette.

“Each destination reveals a new layer of the region’s identity, offering travelers a deeper understanding of its cultural fabric.”
