Intrepid Adds New Premium Trips, Celebrates Best June in its History

Intriguing accommodations on Intrepid’s new Premium Greenland trip.
Coming off the best June in its history, Intrepid Travel aims to keep the momentum growing by expanding its Premium range of trips, launching three new itineraries in Greenland, Norway and Costa Rica, alongside more than 50 new signature experiences across its Premium portfolio.
Intrepid’s Premium range grew 19% year-on-year in 2025, making it one of the company’s fastest-growing travel styles and reinforcing the appeal of seamless travel that features a high level of inclusions, comfort, convenience and meaningful local experiences.
Led by Intrepid’s most experienced local leaders, Premium is the company’s most comfortable travel style, offering handpicked feature stays, exceptional included experiences and enhanced service throughout the trip.
The launch comes amid growing demand for elevated, hassle-free travel. Recent Intrepid research of more than 8,000 travellers across Australia, Canada, the UK and U.S. revealed that 70% of travellers place greater value on holidays where planning, logistics and other stressors are taken care of for them.

Intrepid enjoying rapid growth in North America, with new bookings up 30% year-over-year, bolstered by strong global booking growth of 40% year-over-year.
This surge is being driven by outstanding performance for Intrepid’s industry channels, up 61% in Canada and 43% in the U.S, The company has also seen explosive year-over-year growth of 126% in North America for its Tailor-Made custom trips.

- The new 8-day Premium Greenland trip will be Intrepid’s second land-based tour in the country. Travellers stay at a remote eco-lodge perched on rocky hillsides overlooking the sea near the UNESCO-listed Ilulissat Icefjord, as well as enjoying a boat excursion to Eqi Glacier, where they’ll cruise past drifting icebergs and towering ice walls.
- On the 8-day Premium Costa Rica – Tortuguero and the Caribbean Coast trip, guests stay at Tortuga Lodge, one of Costa Rica’s most renowned rainforest eco-lodges, and visit a permaculture farm to harvest fresh ingredients before joining a local family for a traditional Afro-Caribbean cooking experience.
- Meanwhile, the 8-day Premium Norwegian Fjords trip features a stay in the charming sea houses of Knutholmen, a historic Nordic fishing village, with the opportunity to unwind in a floating sauna overlooking the bay.
Alongside the new trips, Intrepid has added more than 50 new signature experiences across the Premium range. With these new additions, Intrepid now offers over 100 Premium trips across six continents and 62 countries. The new itineraries are available to book now and will depart from May 2027.
