The Jamaica Tourist Board has joined Internova Travel Group’s network of preferred destination partners, opening the door to expanded marketing, advisor education and promotional opportunities across the travel company’s global network.
The agreement will strengthen Jamaica’s visibility among Internova’s more than 100,000 affiliated travel advisors worldwide, including those within Travel Leaders Network and Global Travel Collection.
Jamaica is already a major destination for Internova’s business. In 2025, affiliated advisors generated $463 million in travel revenue to the island, sending approximately 215,000 land-based travellers to the destination.
The new partnership aims to build on that momentum through targeted consumer marketing campaigns, enhanced advisor training and destination coverage in Internova publications, including OLTRE and Bucket List.
“Our scale allows us to create opportunities that benefit both our travel advisors and the partners they work with,” said Stephen McGillivray, chief partner marketing officer, Internova Travel Group, in a press release. “By bringing together the reach of our brands and the expertise of our advisors, we can help destinations like Jamaica connect with more travellers and grow their business.”
The agreement will also see Jamaica Tourist Board collaborate with Internova’s SELECT Hotels & Resorts program and Travel Leaders Network’s Romance Alliance, targeting luxury travel specialists and advisors focused on honeymoons and destination weddings.
Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism, Edmund Bartlett, welcomed the expanded relationship, highlighting the importance of travel advisors to the island’s tourism economy.
“Internova’s contribution to Jamaica’s tourism economy underscores the tremendous value of our travel advisor partners in driving visitor arrivals and economic growth,” said Bartlett in a statement.
“This strengthened partnership will allow us to reach more travellers, deepen our engagement with luxury markets, and create greater opportunities for our tourism businesses and people. Together, we are building a stronger, more resilient and sustainable tourism sector for Jamaica.”
