The Las Vegas strip is getting a new kind of thrill: One best suited to satisfy a need for speed.

Paramount Global and Advent Allen Entertainment have announced that a Top Gun experience will open at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower in 2028. Based on the iconic action film franchise, the attraction will combine immersive, state-of-the-art thrill ride technology with cinematic storytelling.

“The Top Gun films are one of the most emotionally charged stories of our time. We’re proud to unite with Paramount to bring this timeless, action-packed epic to life—delivering experiences that embody teamwork, excellence, the exhilaration of speed and the thrill of flying,” said Mark Advent, co-founder of Advent Allen Entertainment and creator of the legendary New York New York Hotel & Casino (via Licensing International).

The experience is set to launch in summer 2028, and will be built on an undeveloped site at the STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower. According to a release, Top Gun Las Vegas (working title) will allow guests to immerse themselves in Top Gun, complete with fighter jet simulators (and more).

The attraction will also include a restaurant inspired by the Hard Deck bar seen in Top Gun: Maverick, and will feature live piano singalongs.

“This innovative venture marks a new milestone for Top Gun and expands Paramount’s portfolio of immersive entertainment,” said Pam Kaufman, president and CEO of International Markets, Global Consumer Products and Experiences at Paramount. “Paramount is committed to delivering authentic, mind-blowing experiences for fans, and Mark Advent and Bill Allen are the perfect team to make this destination soar.”

Paramount has been growing its footprint in the tourism space, mainly through IP licensing deals for its children’s media arm, Nickelodeon. In addition to the two existing Nickelodeon all-inclusive resorts operated by Karisma, a new Nickelodeon resort is coming to Orlando in 2026.
