Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. (BTMI) has officially appointed Michèle Rauzon as Business Development Representative for Quebec.
Bringing over 40 years of experience in the tourism industry, Rauzon’s mandate includes strengthening ties with travel professionals and helping to grow the destination within the market.

This new role marks a return to a destination Rauzon knows well and has promoted throughout her career. Her appointment allows BTMI to strengthen its direct presence in Quebec — a market the organization values.
In her new role, she will work closely with travel advisors and other industry partners, fostering initiatives to raise awareness of Barbados within the Quebec market. She will also provide destination-specific training and support cooperative marketing initiatives.
“My goal is to work closely with the Quebec travel industry, to train travel advisors on this magnificent destination, and to introduce them to all the new properties as well as the hotels and resorts on the island that have recently undergone renovations,” Rauzon told TMR Quebec.
“We will also work closely with travel agency networks and chains in Quebec by offering online training as well as familiarization trips specifically designed for travel advisors,” Rauzon said.
BTMI’s goal is to solidify industry partnerships while fostering sustainable growth in the number of visitors from Quebec.
