Sunwing’s Winter: WestJet Flights, New Resorts & Early Booking Perks

Nicaragua is a new option for Sunwing travellers this winter.

Sunwing Vacations has announced its 2025-2026 winter schedule, marking the first full winter season with travel on board WestJet. The program features direct flights from over 20 airports across Canada to over 25 sun destinations.

There are new routes from major Canadian cities like Toronto, Thunder Bay, Montreal and Quebec City to the south, coupled with Sunwing’s vast variety of vacation packages selected to appeal to families, couples, solos, multi-generational groups and destination wedding groups.

Andrew Dawson with Sunwing Airlines President Len Corrado and Eric Rodriguez, EVP Sunwing Vacations Group.

“Providing travel advisors with accessible and affordable vacation options for our mutual clients remains a top priority for Sunwing, and we’re excited to unveil our winter 2025-2026 schedule featuring favourite destinations alongside the exciting new additions of Managua, Nicaragua and Samana, Dominican Republic,” said Sunwing Vacations Group President Andrew Dawson.

“Building off a strong 2024-2025 winter season, this winter is our first operating with all flights on board WestJet. The enhanced connectivity allows us to bring Canadians to more destinations along with the exceptional value that Sunwing is known for, plus the added value that comes with WestJet’s caring crew and friendly onboard service,” Dawson added.

In addition to the new destinations of Managua from Montreal, and Samana from both Toronto and Montreal, Sunwing’s winter schedule now includes expanded route options to Montego Bay and San Andrés from Québec City, and Punta Cana from Thunder Bay.
