TTC Tour Brands Elevates Egypt Itineraries with Grand Egyptian Museum

TTC Tour Brands Elevates Egypt Itineraries with Grand Egyptian Museum

Visitors admire the tomb of Ramesses VI in Luxor.

TTC Tour Brands has announced that the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) will be featured on all Trafalgar and Insight Vacations Egypt itineraries and available as an optional experience with Costsaver once the museum fully opens this November.

The highly anticipated GEM will be the world’s largest museum dedicated to a single civilization and TTC Tour Brands says its opening makes Egypt as a must-sell destination for 2026.

The museum brings together more than 100,000 archaeological artifacts spanning eras from pre-dynastic Egypt to the Greek and Roman periods.

Among its highlights are the treasures of Pharaoh Tutankhamun – known as the “Boy King” and the “Golden Pharaoh” – the solar boat of Pharaoh Khufu, builder of the Great Pyramid, and the collection of his mother, Queen Hetepheres I.

Situated west of Cairo with a panoramic view of the Giza Pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum allows visitors to see all of Tutankhamun’s treasures displayed in one place for the first time. The museum is expected to attract between five and eight million visitors annually.

“The opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum will be one of the most significant cultural moments of the decade,” said Jen Hirtle, General Manager for EMEA Travel Experiences, TTC Tour Brands.

“Egypt has always been a destination that inspires travellers and now advisors can offer even more reasons for their clients to experience it with Trafalgar, Insight Vacations or Costsaver. From immersive Nile cruises to curated premium journeys including Women-Only departures, we are giving advisors exciting ways to meet growing demand.”

Trafalgar’s Egypt collection features guided journeys and Nile cruises that immerse travellers in the country’s rich history, combining expert insight from Egyptologists with effortless access to world-famous landmarks, including the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, the Valley of the Kings, Karnak Temple, Abu Simbel, and Philae Temple.

Insight Vacations offers a premium experience with elevated inclusions and accommodations, along with Women-Only departures crafted and led by women. Highlights include a visit to a women’s co-operative in Aswan and high tea at the legendary Old Cataract Hotel. For those seeking flexibility, Costsaver provides the freedom to explore Egypt independently while enjoying the ease and confidence of a guided vacation.
