Amaná Retreat is a new adults-only concept debuting at Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana and Wyndham Alltra Samaná in the Dominican Republic.

Designed for travellers seeking a more private, personalized experience, Amaná gives adults dedicated accommodations, dining, pools, beaches and service while maintaining access to the energy and amenities of the wider, family-friendly resorts.

Aimbridge All-Inclusive, the all-inclusive division of Aimbridge Hospitality, says Amaná was created for adults seeking the freedom to slow down, reconnect, and experience a getaway shaped around their own pace and preferences. Across both properties, Amaná creates space for connection or escape, socializing or solitude.

At Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana, Amaná Retreat offers adults a private space to relax, recharge and experience the resort at their own pace. Across 120 rooms and suites spanning two buildings, ranging from tropical-view rooms to spacious junior and two-bedroom suites, guests enjoy private, personalized check-in, dedicated butler service and access to a private adults-only beach with its own beach concierge.

The experience carries through to dining, with à la carte breakfast and lunch at Costa Azul and exclusive adults-only dining at Brasas Steakhouse. Guests can also enjoy the Mixology Lounge Experience, a complimentary daily offering.

Back in the room, thoughtful touches include a Dominican rum welcome amenity featuring a local Dominican rum specialty, an upgraded minibar, plush bathrobes and slippers, and premium bathroom amenities. Guests can also indulge in wellness amenities with complimentary hydrotherapy access, as well as a 20% discount on spa treatments.

“We designed Amaná Retreat so that, from the moment you arrive, you feel the pace of the world slow down,” said Hilario Peralta, General Manager of Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana.

“Plus, being located within Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana means the resort’s vibrant energy is just steps away. It is the perfect formula: sharing the trip with a group or family while enjoying a peaceful sanctuary that feels entirely your own”

At Wyndham Alltra Samaná, Amaná Retreat takes on a more intimate approach, offering adults a quieter way to experience the natural beauty of the Samaná Peninsula. The adults-only experience encompasses 149 rooms across designated buildings, with updated room categories including Adults Only Junior Suite, Double Beds, and Adults Only Junior Suite, King Bed.

Guests enjoy a more private setting designed for time to unwind and connect, along with private in-room check-in and personalized service from a dedicated host and concierge throughout their stay. Amaná guests also have access to a private adults-only pool and beach area with extended pool hours.

“On the Samaná Peninsula, Amaná Retreat was created as an adults-only escape where guests can slow down and truly enjoy the destination. From the privacy of an in-room check-in to peaceful mornings by the adults-only pool, long walks along our beautiful beach and unhurried sunsets by the sea, every detail is designed to create a more intimate, relaxed and personal experience,” said Alberto Avina, General Manager, Wyndham Alltra Samaná.

Dining at Amaná is designed to offer greater choice and flexibility beginning with an à la carte breakfast at Cosecha and continuing with adults-only access to UMI, preferred reservations at the resort’s à la carte restaurants and an exclusive snack menu served poolside.
