Travel Best Bets brought together more than 150 of its home-based Connected Agents for a day of professional development, networking and collaboration at its ENGAGE training event on October 19.

Held at the Element Vancouver Metrotown, the event gave travel advisors an opportunity to strengthen supplier relationships, exchange ideas and gain practical insights to help grow their businesses.

The full-day program featured presentations from members of the Travel Best Bets leadership team, along with eight supplier partners who shared product updates, industry insights and business-building strategies.

Designed to encourage participation and collaboration, ENGAGE focused on connecting advisors at different stages of their careers while providing tools and resources they could apply to their businesses.

“One of the things I love most about our Connected Agent program is the incredible mix of experience,” said Claire Newell, president of Travel Best Bets, in a press release. “We have agents who are just starting their travel careers alongside experienced professionals who have been with us for years. ENGAGE was an opportunity to bring everyone together, share knowledge, build relationships and help each other succeed.”

Throughout the day, attendees had opportunities to meet directly with supplier representatives, network with fellow advisors and connect with the company’s leadership team.

The event also provided a platform for newer agents to learn from more experienced colleagues, reinforcing the value of knowledge-sharing within Travel Best Bets’ home-based advisor network.

“Our goal was simple. We wanted every agent to leave feeling inspired, more connected and with at least a few new ideas they could take home and use to grow their business,” added Newell. “The energy in the room was fantastic, and it was wonderful to see so many meaningful conversations and connections taking place.”
