Travel Market Report Quebec Launches Today!

by John Kirk  March 27, 2025
Travel Market Report Quebec Launches Today!

After the well-received welcome of Travel Market Report Canada to the Canadian market in February, Travel Market Quebec is now live. The new site is designed and developed exclusively for the French-language market.

“I hope you’re as excited about this as we are,” said John Kirk, Executive Director for Canada. “The commitment and vision of the Travel Market Report group speaks volumes. They are extremely invested in Canada: a Canadian division of their company has been created, a Canadian banking structure is in place, and a local team is ready to deliver compelling news and information to our readers.”

Catherine Maisonneuve

TMR Québec will be led day-to-day by Catherine Maisonneuve, a travel journalist with nearly 10 years of experience. Previously at Tourisme Plus and most recently editor-in-chief for TravelPulse Québec, she will manage a team of freelancers based across Quebec to cover events, press trips, and news of interest to industry professionals.

“It’s an honour for me to accept this challenge at this stage of my career: launching a new magazine at home in Montreal and building a team to cover travel industry news in Quebec, says Maisonneuve, editor-in-chief of TMR Québec. “The TMR team is so motivated; it’s refreshing to see such enthusiasm for our unique market, Quebec. One thing’s for sure: we’re going to have fun!”

John Kirk

Here’s what to expect:

As well as essential daily industry news and supplier updates, our readers will find thematic articles on topics such as technology and new products, which will help advisors expand their expertise and offerings.

TMR also organizes events across the country, including Travel Market Place, the next edition of which will take place in Toronto on June 24 and 25. The event brings together speakers, partners, suppliers, and travel agents to discuss the latest industry trends.

It is essential for you to interact with the TravelMarketReport.ca team and, now, TMRQuebec.ca, and to use these platforms as valuable resources to stay informed and connected to the Canadian travel industry.

Industry professionals are encouraged to keep up with industry news by subscribing to TMR Québec’s social media channels and regularly visiting the website, which will be updated Monday to Friday with the latest news.
