Grand Velas Riviera Maya Launches Specialized Menopause Menu

Grand Velas Riviera Maya Launches Specialized Menopause Menu

Grand Velas Riviera Maya is shining a spotlight on women’s wellness with the launch of a new Menopause Menu at its Forbes Five-Star SE Spa, featuring an 80-minute treatment to support women during menopause and perimenopause.

The Menopause Fortify Massage (80 min / USD $440) is a deeply soothing, full-body treatment designed to support women through the changes of menopause. Combining gentle, targeted massage techniques with cooling therapies and calming aromatherapy, the experience helps ease common symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, anxiety, irritability, joint discomfort, and sleep disturbances.

The Menopause Menu also includes a selection of complementary spa treatments tailored to address specific concerns. For guests experiencing hot flashes and night sweats, the Moon & Sun Stone Massage (80 min) alternates heated stones with cool marble to promote circulation, detoxification, and deep relaxation. The Neuro-Aromatherapy Massage (50 or 80 min) uses essential oils designed to act on the central nervous system, helping to reduce stress and anxiety.

For skin-related changes, the Marine Detox Body Wrap (80 min) combines gentle exfoliation, a detoxifying seaweed wrap, and a hydrating massage, while the Diamond Life Infusion Anti-Aging Facial (80 min) is an advanced treatment that targets aging biomarkers at the cellular level and incorporates myofascial lift massage to enhance circulation and improve skin elasticity.

Guests experiencing muscle tension or sleep challenges may benefit from the Sensory Deprivation Tank experience (80 min), which features flotation therapy in mineral-rich, Epsom salt–infused water, followed by a hot stone massage. The Presso Drainage Massage (80 min) uses specialized manual techniques and presso boots to help reduce water retention, support lymphatic drainage, and promote detoxification.

Inspired by the jungle and natural water pools of the Yucatán Peninsula, SE Spa at Grand Velas Riviera Maya spans 90,000 square feet. Indigenous stone, plant life, and flowing streams are incorporated into the spa’s curved, organic two-level design, set just below ground level and featuring a living rock wall and natural water elements. Each spa journey begins with the resort’s signature Water Ceremony, a seven-step hydrotherapy experience that includes a eucalyptus steam room with chromotherapy, polar pool, sensory shower, exfoliation and clay room, mint ice room, sauna, and more.

SE Spa is also Wellness for Cancer–certified, offering personalized spa services for guests affected by any type of cancer.
