Grand Velas Riviera Maya Unveils Teen Club

Grand Velas Riviera Maya Unveils Teen Club

Grand Velas Riviera Maya has unveiled its newly completed Teens’ Club, a two-level venue designed for guests aged 12 and up.

The main floor features classic favourites include air hockey, billiards, foosball and PlayStation 5 gaming pods, alongside a snack bar, board games, a social media studio with ring light and a dedicated disco area. Upstairs, teens will find a 22-seat private cinema, an immersive golf simulator and an expansive arcade featuring basketball, Fortnite, Pac-Man and car racing games. The VIP theatre screens family-friendly films throughout the day, while golf simulator tournaments — including dedicated sessions for both boys’ and girls’ clubs — are scheduled regularly.

The Teens’ Club also highlights authentic Mexican culture through hands-on workshops and interactive programming like guacamole-making classes and traditional Huichol bead art to DIY phone keychains, cap and tote bag decorating, and Mexican bracelet crafting. Wellness-focused activities have also been introduced, including skincare sessions and creative water bottle painting workshops tailored to older children.

The resort plans a year-round calendar of special events designed to keep the space dynamic and engaging. This spring break, the Teens’ Club will debut the Mocktail Lab — a non-alcoholic mixology experience where teens can craft their own signature drinks while experimenting with flavours, colours and presentation. The Easter-themed launch event will emphasize connection, teamwork and self-expression in a vibrant, stylish setting.

The Teens’ Club operates daily from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
