Tech solutions company VacationPort (formerly Passport Online Inc.) has announced a new partnership with Riviera Travel, offering travel advisors in the U.S. and Canada access to one of Europe’s largest river cruise and tour operators.

The U.K.’s premier river cruise line is currently expanding within North America, and has been rolling out initiatives to better connect with the trade. In July, Riviera Travel launched a digital training platform for travel advisors, and in May, expanded its North American sales team.

“Our partnership with VacationPort significantly strengthens our ability to reach a broader
network of travel advisors across North America,” said Stuart Milan, president of North America
for Riviera Travel. “By integrating with a platform so widely used and trusted in the industry,
we’re making it even easier for advisors to discover, promote, and sell Riviera Travel’s award-winning river cruises and grand tours. It’s an important step in supporting our trade partners
and growing our presence in the market.”

By joining the VacationPort catalog, Riviera Travel will join a platform that powers millions of monthly shopping sessions across thousands of travel agency websites.

“At VacationPort, we are committed to delivering the most extensive and high-quality content
distribution system in the travel industry,” said Sarah Bauman, vice president of product
management for VacationPort. “Partnering with Riviera Travel brings a world-class product to
our advisors and helps introduce their exceptional European experiences to a broader North
American audience.”
