Rocky Mountaineer has launched a travel advisor discount program for 2026, created to make it easier for those in the industry to experience the luxury rail product firsthand.

Effective immediately, travel advisors can take advantage of a 20% discount on vacation packages as well as rail-only tickets on the Rocky Mountaineer for any 2026 departure. The special pricing is available for both SilverLeaf and GoldLeaf service levels, and can also apply to a travel companion.

Rocky Mountaineer is an iconic train journey, known for its itineraries exploring the heart of the Canadian Rockies. In addition to excellent service and unparalleled views, GoldLeaf travelers also benefit from enhancements like a dedicated dining car and a glass dome coach.

To qualify, travel advisors must be active travel advisors who are accredited with IATA, ARC, or CLIA, and must have completed the TRACKS, Rocky Mountaineer’s travel advisor training program.

Booking is non-commissionable, and vacation packages must be booked a minimum of 45 days prior to departure. The “friends and family” discount only applies to new bookings, is limited to one per person, and can be applied to two- and three-day packages.

“We set out to make it easier for advisors to experience Rocky Mountaineer and Canyon Spirit firsthand,” Josh Mahon, director, retail sales, North America, told Travel Market Report. “When they can truly see and feel the journey, it comes through authentically in how they share it with their clients. At its core, this program is about supporting our travel advisor community—giving them the tools, confidence, and firsthand perspective to sell an experience that’s genuinely one of a kind.”

Last year, Rocky Mountaineer unveiled Canyon Spirit, the new brand for its American Southwest rail product, which operates between Utah and Colorado. The refreshed trains began operating this month, and the season runs until the fall.
