Maureen Barnes-Smith, Vice President, Sales & Marketing Canada, Unique Vacations Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Antoine Gordon as the new Business Development Manager, Alberta, Manitoba and Northwest Territories (based in Calgary) effective immediately.

Antoine joins the Canadian sales team for Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts with a solid sales background, in travel and beyond, in both Canada and the United States.

As a Travel Industry Council of Ontario – (TICO) – certified travel advisor, he inherently understands the day-to-day needs of travel advisors which will serve him well in his new role.  In addition to helping travel advisors in his region develop and execute successful sales & marketing strategies to grow their business with Sandals and Beaches Resorts, Antoine will support tour operators and tourist board partners in Western Canada.

“Unique Vacations Canada has had in-market sales representation in Western Canada for over 30 years, beginning with Gary C. Sadler, who is now our Executive Vice President, Sales & Industry Relations,” said Barnes-Smith. “We planted the flag long before any other Caribbean resort company decided to venture west.”

“Antoine’s appointment reaffirms our commitment to support our partners in Alberta, Manitoba and yes, the Northwest Territories,” continued Barnes-Smith.  “His sales skills combined with his social media savvy are a sure-fire way to success, for both himself and for the travel advisors in his region.”
