ACTA is inviting Canadian travel professionals to elevate their careers and credibility through two nationally recognized professional designations: Certified Travel Counsellor (CTC) and Certified Travel Manager (CTM). As an added incentive, new enrollments this month will enjoy a 30% savings.

The advisor advocacy organization says certification offers professional recognition, career advancement, access to exclusive FAM trips and conference pricing, and most importantly, pride in the role as a trusted travel advisor.

“By earning CTC designation, advisors will join the thousands of professionals who have enhanced their brand, increased their visibility, and advanced their careers through ACTA certification. Whether building your credentials or preparing for a leadership role, the CTC and CTM designations are a passport to success,” ACTA said in a press release.

Here are more details about the value of accreditation:

Real-World Readiness: Assessments are grounded in workplace performance, including a knowledge exam and a performance evaluation.

Leadership Pathway: The CTC is a stepping stone to becoming a Certified Travel Manager (CTM), supporting long-term career development.

Marketing and Member Benefits: Certified members enjoy visibility through the use of the CTC logo, directory listings, exclusive networking opportunities, and priority access to ACTA’s international experiential learning opportunities.

Certification can advance a travel advisor’s career.
