Globus Family of Brands Launches “Start Strong” Guide for New Advisors

Globus Family of Brands Launches “Start Strong” Guide for New Advisors

The Globus family of brands has created a guide for new travel advisors.

As a welcome new wave of Travel Advisors enters the industry, the Globus family of brands says it is strengthening its role as a long-standing partner to the advisor community by launching  Start Strong: Ultimate Guide for New Travel Advisors.

Across the industry, Globus says, suppliers and agency owners alike are seeing an influx of advisors who are newer to selling travel – bringing fresh energy and entrepreneurial spirit but also facing a steep learning curve as they navigate complex products, client expectations and an increasingly competitive marketplace.

“This moment matters,” said Cory McGillivray, VP of sales operations and channel marketing for the Globus family of brands.

“We’re welcoming a growing class of Travel Advisors who are new to the industry and their success will shape the future of travel retail. What we’re seeing is a real need for education that goes beyond products to offer practical guidance that helps advisors sell with confidence, build trust quickly and grow businesses that last.”

While destination demand and supplier innovation continue to evolve, Globus believes the longer-term health of the travel industry depends on continued advisor success – particularly for those just entering the profession.

Without the right support early on, the company says, many new advisors can struggle to scale, differentiate themselves or fully leverage the value of strong supplier partnerships.

Leaning into its “We’ve Got U” platform, the Globus family of brands created its Ultimate Guide to address those challenges, offering real-world insights and foundational knowledge to help newer advisors:

  • Find their niche and build their focus.
  • Access tools and tech platforms for support.
  • Turn leads into loyal, repeat business.

The Ultimate Guide is part of a larger, long-term investment by the Globus family of brands to enable and empower Travel Advisors at every stage of their careers. In addition to the guide, advisors benefit from:

  • A best-in-class Travel Advisor Portal with training, tools and on-demand resources.
  • Proven lead-generation support and ready-to-use marketing assets.
  • Dedicated Business Development Managers (BDMs) providing hands-on guidance.
  • A diverse portfolio of touring and river cruise brands – Globus, Cosmos and Avalon Waterways – designed to meet a wide range of traveler needs and price points.

“Our role is to help advisors succeed in not just booking trips, but building careers,” added McGillivray. “This guide, along with the tools and support behind it, reflects how seriously we take that responsibility.”
