TTAND Welcomes First U.S.-Based Supplier; Names Delta Vacations Preferred Partner

TTAND Welcomes First U.S.-Based Supplier; Names Delta Vacations Preferred Partner

The Travel Agent Next Door has signed a preferred supplier agreement with Delta Vacations, marking the first U.S. based tour operator agreement for the host agency group.

The deal gives TTAND advisors access to the Delta Vacations’ curated global portfolio of more than 5,000 4 and 5 star hotels in over 330 worldwide destinations from origins across the U.S. and Canada.

The agreement is effective immediately.

“Our agents who operate near the Canada/U.S. border have been asking for this,” said TTAND Founder and CEO, Flemming Friisdahl.  “They have clients who want to travel from U.S. gateways near the border. However, Delta Vacations is also available to clients on any Delta flight from Canada as well.”

“We’re thrilled to partner with The Travel Agent Next Door as they introduce Delta Vacations to their advisor community,” said Delta Vacations Director of Sales, David Bentz. “Together, we’re creating more opportunities for agents to offer trusted, end‑to‑end vacation experiences across the globe from a broad network of U.S. and Canadian departure points.”

The program delivers expert support, strong earning potential, flexible payment options, and added value through exclusive SkyMiles® benefits, flexible payment options, strong commissions and powerful marketing and educational resources.

Late last year, the Travel Agent Next Door announced it had entered into an equity partnership with UK based Travel Counsellors. The Travel Agent Next Door (TTAND) was founded in March 2014, promising to give travel agents and small agencies greater earning potential and comprehensive support. It has since grown to become the largest host agency in Canada, with over 1,500 members.
