GBTA Survey: Business Travelers Prefer PreCheck
Business travelers who enroll in TSA PreCheck are more satisfied with their experience getting through airport security than those who not enrolled, says a new GBTA survey. Two-thirds of TSA PreCheck-enrolled business travelers were satisfied, compared with just 47% of those not enrolled.
The survey also found that 66% of PreCheck-enrolled business travelers are satisfied with their general air travel experience, compared to 54% of those not enrolled.
Older generations are more likely to enroll in PreCheck, according to the survey—51% of Baby Boomers, compared to 37% of Gen Xers and 32% of Millennials.
Last September, the TSA ended its policy of letting some travelers use the PreCheck line despite not being enrolled in the program. Instead, the TSA said it was rolling out a new program that will use canines to screen some travelers and allow them into the PreCheck lines.
