AmaKristina Christened In Serbia
by Daniel McCarthyAmaWaterways latest ship, the AmaKristina, was christened in a ceremony at the Vahali shipyard near Belgrade, Serbia, last month.
The ship is set to debut in 2017 with a number of different Adventures By Disney itineraries as part of a new partnership between the two companies.
The Disney partnership will allow “AmaWaterways to accelerate our multi-generational and active traveler appeal,” Brenda Kyllo, VP of strategic alliances told TMR last month.
Its sailings will include AmaWaterways’ Enchanting Rhine and Christmas Markets on the Rhine sailings, which follows the river through Germany, the Netherlands, France, and Switzerland.
Onboard, the 158-passenger AmaKristina will feature in-room internet access, a heated pool with a swim-up bar, and a number of different dining venues. It will also offer staterooms with AmaWaterways’ exclusive twin balconies.
