Celebrity Cruises Reveals Four More New Spaces Onboard Celebrity Xcel

Celebrity Cruises has revealed yet more brand-new venues debuting onboard its next new cruise ship, Celebrity Xcel. From an enhanced pool “club” to an adult arcade-style lounge to new spa spaces, the ship will offer plenty of innovation for cruisers to check out.

“Celebrity Xcel will set sail with seven new elevated experiences that invite guests to escape their daily routine and make memories that will last a lifetime,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, president of Celebrity Cruises. “With so much innovation at every turn, the journey will be just as fun as the destinations themselves.”

Celebrity Pool Club on Celebrity Xcel

Starting outside, the Celebrity Pool Club sets a new standard for day-to-night poolside experiences. New to the area will be a pool valet offering poolside chilled towels, card games, sunscreen, and storage for personal items. A new rooftop design provides increased shading.  

On the last sea day of each Caribbean itinerary, the Celebrity Pool Club will be transformed into the “Poolest Day Ever,” an all-day transformation that brings island vibes with Caribbean-inspired live music and DJ’d favorites, pop-up shows, and pool games. The bar menu will include specialty Poolest Day Ever options, and, once the sun goes down, the Night poolside party kicks off.

Cruisers can also choose to upgrade their experience with the rental of a private cabana complete with dedicated service.

Also new to Xcel will be an all-day, all-night adults-oriented game rooms lit by neon lights and big on retro nostalgia. Open 24/7, the arcade will feature favorites like Pac-Man, NBA Showtime, and more, along with pool, darts, foosball, and shuffleboard. Cruisers can even book a private event space for group activities including karaoke, golf simulation, and more. The Attic at The Club is located on the second floor of the The Club, an Edge-class signature space.

Spa Spaces on Celebrity Xcel: Hydra Room & Vitamin D Deck

Celebrity Xcel will feature the cruise line’s most expansive spa spaces to date, including the line’s first-ever Hydra Room, which offers eight therapeutic experiences in the Thermal Suite. Options include a warm, bubbling pool with massage jets, heated lounge chairs, and more.

The outdoor Vitamin D Deck, available only to Thermal Suite guests as well, offers sweeping views, stylish seating, and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages.

In total, the spa will offer more than 120 treatments and therapies, along with an interactive shopping experience that allows guests to trial a range of products before they buy.

Celebrity Flagship Store

For cruisers who prefer retail therapy, Celebrity’s first-ever Celebrity Flagship Store doubles as an interactive exhibit celebrating all things Celebrity. Guests will be able to have fun with interactive screens offering up trivia questions and insider facts, or check out historical artifacts and vintage collectables. The store will also offer a wide range of customizable items that can be engraved, embroidered, or printed, such as water bottles, cocktail kits, keychains, caps, and robes.

The Celebrity Flagship Store will also be stocked with one-of-a-kind Celebrity products available only on Celebrity Xcel.

These new experiences are part of the seven brand new spaces that also include The Bazaar and the Bora al fresco Mediterranean restaurant.

Cruisers are still invited to take part in finalizing these new spaces by joining Xcel “Dream Makers.” Open to anyone interested in joining, Dream Makers make decisions across culinary, interior design, and entertainment including choosing games they want to add to the Attic at The Club, as well as selecting Celebrity Cruises artifacts featured in the Celebrity Flagship Store.

Celebrity Xcel launches this fall with an inaugural season sailing from Fort Lauderdale on seven-night itineraries that alternate between The Bahamas, Mexico, Cayman Islands, Puerto Plata, St. Tomas, and St. Maarten. In summer 2026, Celebrity Xcel moves to Europe for seven- to 11-night journeys out of Barcelona and Athens, with all including overnight stays in Madeira, Portugal.
