Regent Seven Seas Cruises Expands Sports Car-Themed Pre/Post Cruise Options

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has expanded its collaboration with Motorsport Lab to introduce four pre- and post-cruise programs across seven European voyages in 2027. The packages put guests in Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Porsches on tours of Barcelona, England’s Goodwood Estate, and Italy’s Motor Valley.  

“The most meaningful travel experiences connect guests with the people, culture, and passions that define a destination,” said Wesley D’Silva, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “Through our expanded collaboration with Motorsport Lab, guests can go beyond traditional sightseeing to experience some of Europe’s most iconic automotive regions through exclusive access, expert guidance and unforgettable moments.”

Curated and led by Motorsport Lab, the collection includes two distinct “Motorsport Magic” experiences in Barcelona, ‘House of Motorsports” at Goodwood in England, and “Italy’s Supercar Escape” in Bologna.

The new programs build on previous Motorsport Lab-curated experiences. In 2025, guests took part in supercar driving and private automotive access in Barcelona, drove the Monaco Grand Prix street circuit in exotic cars, and journeyed into Italy’s Motor Valley for Ferrari and Lamborghini experiences complemented by destination-inspired dining.

Motorsport Magic: Exotic Supercar Edition (Barcelona, July 29-Aug. 1, 2027)

This post-cruise tour puts guests behind the wheel of modern supercars from marques including Ferrari and Lamborghini. The program pairs street driving along portions of the city’s historic racing circuit with a private aerial experience and intimate access to a private collection of supercars, race cars, motorcycles, classics, and exotics. Exploration of the Gothic Quarter, Catalan cuisine, regional wine, and live flamenco complete the experience. Only available with the July 19, 2027, Moonlight Over the Mediterranean voyage onboard Seven Seas Grandeur.

Motorsport Magic: Classic Porsche Edition (Barcelona, July 26-29, 2027)

This pre-cruise tour invites guests to drive classic Porsches through Catalonia’s interior and coastal roads, visit the historic Terramar racetrack, and explore the seaside town of Sitges. Private access to a distinguished motorsport collection is complemented by time in Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter, Catalan cuisine, regional wine, and live flamenco. Only available with the July 29, 2027, Eclipse the Ordinary sailing onboard the Seven Seas Grandeur.

House of Motorsports (Goodwood, England, Aug. 18-21, 2027 or Aug. 21-24, 2027) 

This pre- or post-tour will immerse guests in the heritage and sporting culture of the celebrated Goodwood Estate. Planned experiences include performance hot laps on the historic Goodwood Motor Circuit, motorsport off-roading and specialized driving activities, alongside golf, professional golf instruction, clay shooting, English tea, and an art tour. Available on the Aug. 3, 2027, Land of the Vikings sailing onboard Seven Seas Voyager or the Aug. 21, 2027, Gourmet & Glamour voyage onboard Seven Seas Voyager.

Italy’s Supercar Escape (Bologna and Motor Valley, Italy, Aug. 4-7, Aug. 7-10, or Aug. 12-15)

This post-cruise tour through Bologna, Modena, and Maranello explores the worlds of Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Pagani through celebrated automotive museums and experiences across Italy’s Motor Valley. Guests will have the opportunity to drive a Ferrari on the roads of Maranello and discover Bologna and Modena, complemented by dining at Cavallino, Ferrari’s iconic restaurant reimagined by renowned chef Massimo Bottura. Available as a post-cruise option on the July 29, 2027, Eclipse the Ordinary sailing onboard Seven Seas Grandeur, the Aug. 5, 2027, History & Heritage onboard Seven Seas Prestige, and the Aug. 7, 2027, Culinary Wonders onboard Seven Seas Grandeur.
