Regent Seven Seas Cruises has revealed the details of its all-new Solara Sports Deck and Solara Pool Deck onboard Seven Seas Prestige. Debuting in December 2026 onboard the line’s first new ship class in a decade, the sports deck will feature a competition-sized padel and pickleball court, among other amenities.
The Solara Sports Deck, designed in partnership with SMC Architects, will be located on Deck 14. In addition to the padel and pickleball court, the space will also feature an expansive 18-hole putting greed, a sunrise and sunset yoga area, and a digital shuffleboard gaming system – another first for Regent.
“… The Solara Sports Deck is a testament to how we are rethinking every inch of our new ship class,” said Wesley D’Silva, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “Our guests value a seamless blend of active wellness and refined leisure. By partnering with world-class architects, we’ve created a sleek outdoor environment that is as beautiful as it is functional, allowing our guests to unwind or play against the backdrop of the world’s most iconic horizons.”

The Solara Sports Deck introduces several fleet-first features that balance high-energy play with elevated social spots. By replacing standard sports netting with polished wood framing, architectural paneling, lush integrated planters, and relaxation areas, the entire space serves as a natural continuation of the ship’s interior aesthetic. As dusk falls, custom LED perimeter lighting subtly illuminates the activity boundaries, transforming the deck into an atmospheric social hub for evening play and stargazing.
At the aft of the ship, a sheltered social pavilion invites guests to gather for casual tournaments at the digital shuffleboard tables, or enjoy relaxed games of mini-bowling, chess, baggo, and covered ping pong, surrounded by custom built-in banquettes for rest and relaxation.
For those seeking additional serenity, the line’s first open-air wellness area will host sunrise and sunset stretching and yoga classes.
Adding to Seven Seas Prestige’s reimagined open-air amenities, the centrally located Solara Pool Deck on Deck 12 features a dramatic 48-foot by 29-foot pool with two accompanying whirlpool spas, and ample sun loungers.
Steps away, the upscale Solara Pool Grill restaurant offers an artisanal pizzeria, while the Solara Pool Barprovides premium beverages as part of Regent’s all-inclusive offering.
The upper pool deck on Deck 14 acts as the direct entryway to two of the ship’s specialty dining venues: Regent’s beloved pan-Asian favorite, Pacific Rim, and Azure, a brand-new specialty restaurant debuting authentic mezze-style Mediterranean cuisine.
“When designing Seven Seas Prestige’s Solara Sports Deck and Solara Pool Deck, our goal was to bridge the gap between outdoor fitness and boutique hotel elegance,” said Matt Fyvie at SMC Design. “Whether guests are participating in a tournament at sunset or making their way to the putting green after dark, every aspect of the experience feels intentional, cohesive, and fully integrated with the character of the ship.”
The Solara Sports Deck will be open to guests 24 hours a day and will feature curated social tournaments and dedicated wellness classes, launching with Seven Seas Prestige’s maiden voyage in December 2026.
