Virgin Voyages has launched a production company – “Screw It, Let’s Do It Productions” – to create original shows and experiences for Virgin Cruises, Virgin Hotels, land-based theaters, and corporate partners.
Simultaneously, the brand debuted “Booked,” its newest original show aboard Scarlet Lady. “Booked” will be the first production that Virgin adapts for a land debut in 2026. Virgin Voyages’ signature ship-wide celebration – “Scarlet Night” – will also be adapted for land and is set to debut at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas and Virgin Hotels Shoreditch next year.
Created by No Ceilings Entertainment’s Kim Willecke, Phil Shaw, and Dennis Jauch, “Booked” blends dance, acrobatics, and cabaret-style storytelling. No Ceilings is one of a few producers joining the Screw It, Let’s Do It Productions’ Advisory Board, along with Jenny Gersten, Tony Award-winning producer and artistic director of New York City Center and Eva Price, three-time Tony Award and two-time Olivier Award-winning producer.
“The best commissions. No NCFs. A refreshed ship and all-new shows that prove Virgin Voyages never stops evolving,” said Nirmal Saverimuttu, CEO of Virgin Voyages. “Our 5-5-4 sailings are performing better than ever because Sailors are coming back for what’s new — from Scarlet Lady’s stunning transformation to entertainment that stands shoulder to shoulder with what they’d see on land. It’s everything First Mates need to close the sale again and again.”
[5-5-4 refers to the line’s itinerary pattern, alternating five-night and four-night Caribbean sailings.]
