Waldorf Astoria is getting into the river cruise business with a Nile River experience designed to bring the luxury brand’s signature elegant service to the Nile River. Waldorf Astoria Nile River Experience will offer four- and six-night itineraries starting in late 2026.
The itinerary will see guests travel either down- or up-river from Luxor to Aswan (or vice versa), with private docks in both locations. Along the way, they will take in the temples in Luxor ad the Valley of the Kings, as well as stops in Esna, Edfu, and Kom Ombo.
The Waldorf Astoria Nile River Experience vessel will feature five decks and 29 suites, each serviced by a personal concierge. Elevated amenities will feature a state-of-the-art fitness center and a spa, as well as an array of food and drink experiences such as Waldorf Astoria’s signature Peacock Alley, a brasserie serving Egyptian, Mediterranean and international cuisine, and a rooftop deck.
“Waldorf Astoria is in an incredible new era of luxury, creating unforgettable, immersive experiences in the most sought-after destinations,” said Dino Michael, senior vice president and global head for Hilton Luxury Brands. “This year and beyond, the brand is set to define its global position with the anticipated opening of the legendary Waldorf Astoria New York, and debuting in destinations including the most recent openings in Osaka and Costa Rica, and into the future with Sydney, London, Jaipur and many more. This new destination experience offers guests a spectacular view of Egypt, and we look forward to welcoming guests aboard this one-of-a-kind experience when it launches next year.”
