Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts is gearing up for its Texas debut.

The luxury Hilton brand has signed on Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country, expected to open sometime in 2027. The resort will feature 60 guest rooms and suites and 87 residences.

“Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country’s signing marks a monumental milestone for Hilton and is integral to both our growth in the state, which represents Hilton’s largest hotel portfolio in the U.S., and Hilton luxury brands portfolio expansion across the Americas,” said Amy King, Hilton’s vice president of luxury and mixed-use development.

Located one mile from downtown Fredericksburg, the resort will be in the center of Texas Hill Country, one of the U.S.’s most popular wine destinations with more than 100 wineries. It is positioned 75 miles west of Austin and 65 miles northwest of San Antonio.

Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country will offer multi-room villas, available as both guest rentals and as residences, with private plunge pools and outdoor courtyards. The resort will also feature five eateries, an 11,000-square-foot spa and fitness center, and two pools.
