Cancun Tops AAA Travel’s Top Summer Vacation Destinations

Cancun is the top international summer destination, according to a AAA Travel consumer pulse survey. On their list of the top summer international destinations, the Mexican city was followed by Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, London, England, Rome, Italy and Montego Bay, Jamaica. The top domestic travel destination this summer was Orlando, Fla., followed by Miami and Myrtle Beach. According to AAA, the strengthening U.S. dollar has caused European vacations to become more popular to Americans, as Americans traveling to Europe in 2015 has increased 2.4% over last year.
