Sabre Adds Uruguay Carrier

December 15, 2015

Alas Uruguay, a new regional airline that serves Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Punta del Este and Asuncion, Paraguay, from its Montevideo hub, began distributing its fares and schedules through the Sabre GDS under a long-term technology and e-commerce agreement.

The carrier, which operates three 737-300s, will add São Paulo, Brazil, and Santiago, Chile, in the coming weeks.

Sabre’s e-ticketing technology will enable last-seat availability, instant booking confirmation, and ticket changes.
