2027’s Most Popular Wedding Dates, From the Experts in Vegas

2027’s Most Popular Wedding Dates, From the Experts in Vegas

Conducting more destination weddings than any other place on the planet, the Office of the County Clerk of Las Vegas has decades of data to help it predict next year’s most desired tie-up timings.

Certain dates for nuptials in Las Vegas see much greater demand, especially if they include unique numerical patterns—often called “magic dates”— as well as notable holidays and other trendy events.

Historically, the most popular wedding date in Las Vegas occurred on 7/7/2007. It became known as the “Lucky 7s” day when 4,492 couples were married. The second most popular wedding date in Las Vegas history occurred on 11/11/2011 when 3,125 couples conjoined. In 2022, 2/22/22 also became the sixth most popular wedding date in the city’s history with 2,331 weddings.

The full list is below, which shockingly includes no mention of Elvis. But highlights include Pot Day on April 20 (4/20), which likely has nothing to do with Le Creuset. And there’s May the 4th Star Wars Day (May the Fourth Be With You), where lovely Leia lookalikes can tie the knot with their Wookies.

And check out July. There are two occasions that are both ‘magic dates’ and palindromes — 7/20/2027 and 7/27/27.
