Eastern Safaris Offers Hot Air Ballooning In Chile

by Jessica Montevago  November 10, 2016

Eastern Safaris is launching a hot air balloon experience over the heart of Chile’s northern desert.

Balloons Over Atacama will take passengers at sunrise over the Atacama Desert, offering vistas of the desert landscape against a backdrop of distant volcanoes.

The classic service, beginning at $300 per person, takes 16 passengers per flight, divided into compartments of four. It includes a champagne toast at landing and coffee and tea, fruit and freshly baked pastries at takeoff. Transportation between travelers’ accommodations and the launch/landing sites is also included.

The premium level features only 8 passengers per balloon, divided into compartments of two. Following the flight, passengers will celebrate with premium champagne and receive a complimentary inflight photo. The Premium service starts at $375 per person.
