Have clients heading to Paris this summer? There’s a new taxi boat service being trialed on the Seine between the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower (La Bourdonnais) that they might find useful.

Taxi Seine Paris is a new service created through a collaboration between “Paris je t’aime,” the Paris Port Community (CPP) and HAROPA Port. Using 10 taxi-boats, each capable of holding up to six passengers, the new service makes it easier for visitors to move between the two sites, though only between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

For clients headed to the Olympics, Taxi Seine Paris also links two major sites for the Games: the Concorde Urban Park and the Eiffel Tower Stadium.

Rides can be pre-booked 24 hours in advance, or clients can use a digital booking service to request a ride. The maximum lead time to a booking confirmation is five minutes. The cost is €145 for a maximum of six passengers.
