Norway’s New Oslo Airport Opens

Matching its increasingly higher profile on the tourism radar, Norway’s new Oslo Airport’s expansion has debuted right on time with an increased capacity for 32 million passengers annually, almost double its former capacity.

Oslo Airport has experienced an increase in traffic each year, and surpassed 25 million passengers in 2016; last year almost 500,000 Americans visited Norway for an increase of 17% over the prior year. Agents should be aware, however, that throughout the rest of 2017, there will still be some sporadic construction work to accommodate the establishment of new shops and restaurants.
