Tahiti Tourisme Brings Back North American “Receptions” Road Show

Tahiti Tourisme Brings Back North American “Receptions” Road Show

Tahiti wants to share its culture with Canadians.

For the first time since 2018, Tahiti Tourisme North America (TTNA) is bringing back its Tahiti Receptions program in eight cities across Canada and the U.S. Each event, which is only open to advisors who have registered for the Tahiti Specialist Program, features a half day of destination training, as well as networking opportunities.

Each Reception features two tracks.

For entry level advisors in the Tahiti Specialist Program (TSP, an enhanced destination review is provided offering a deep dive into The Islands of Tahiti to emphasize cultural highlights, activities, products, niche markets, itinerary building, and the benefits of the TSP.

Certified Tahiti Specialists (Levels 1-3) can skip the destination review and instead register for pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings with participating partners to discuss potential business or a specific booking or client.

For Canadian advisors attending the Receptions in either Vancouver or Toronto, it will also be their first opportunity to meet The Islands of Tahiti’s new Trade & Marketing Associate for Canada, Gail Lea Scullion.

To attend a Tahiti Reception, advisors must register for the Tahiti Specialist Program and reach “entry level” by completing two e-learning modules. A “2023 Tahiti Receptions” registration button will appear on the advisor’s profile page once the minimum requirement has been met.

Dates and locations for the Tahiti Receptions are as follows:

April 25 – Toronto (Doubletree by Hilton Downtown)
April 27 – Vancouver (Hyatt Regency)
May 2 – New York City (Ease 1345)
May 4 – Chicago (Loews Chicago O’Hare)
May 9 – Atlanta (Marriott Atlanta Buckhead)
May 11 – Dallas (The Westin Dallas Downtown)
May 16 – Seattle (Seattle Marriott Bellevue)
May 18 – Bay Area (Hyatt Regency Santa Clara)
