Universal’s Island of Adventure today officially opened its Skull Island: Reign of Kong attraction.
The 3-D ride takes guests through Skull Island on a 40-foot-long, 72-passenger vehicle operating on a trackless ride system–a first for Universal.
It also features an animatronic, three-story King Kong, and plenty of skulls. Taking close to six minutes, it is one of the longest rides at the park.
