Canadian travelers will have additional flight options to warm-weather destinations, as well as schedule improvements.

WestJet is adding flights to a number of warm-weather destinations for this upcoming winter season, including service to Maui, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Orlando, Huatulco, Puerto Vallarta, and Belize.

The new schedule includes twice-weekly flights from Calgary to Montego Bay, which kicks off on Nov. 3, 2018; and nonstop weekly service between Saskatoon and Orlando, which starts on Dec. 7, 2018.

Among the additions, WestJet will also increase service from Calgary to Las Vegas, to 20 times weekly; from Calgary to Cancun, to 20 times weekly; from Calgary to Puerto Vallarta, to 19 times weekly; and Calgary to Cabo San Lucas, to 10 times weekly.

From Vancouver, WestJet will add an additional daily flight to Nanaimo, British Columbia.

From Toronto, WestJet will now fly 15 weekly flights to Las Vegas, 16 weekly flights to Fort Lauderdale, 18 weekly flights to Orlando, 12 weekly flights to Nassau, four weekly flights to Turks and Caicos; and eight weekly flights to Kingston, Jamaica.

“WestJet guests across our network continue to benefit from new destinations, schedule improvements and more flights,” said Tim Croyle, WestJet’s interim executive vice president, commercial. “We continue growing our hubs to ensure the best travel experience for Canadians, while laying the foundation for the entry of our Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners from these hubs to the world.”
