After already announcing plans for locations in Lisbon and Madrid, the hotel company of soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is coming to North America.

Cristiana Ronaldo on Wednesday revealed that he and his team will open another Pestana CR7 hotel in Midtown Manhattan, the company’s first hotel located outside of Europe. The company has already opened one hotel in Lisbon, the capital of Ronaldo’s home country of Portugal, Madeira, where Ronaldo lives, and Madrid, which opened last month.

Ronaldo shared the news, along with renderings of the hotel’s accommodations, with his 92 million Twitter followers on Wednesday.

The New York location will open at 338 W 39th Street in Midtown. Its guest rooms will be influenced by the colors and art of Portugal and will sport amenities including an in-room Nespresso maker, refrigerators, and complimentary high-speed internet.

In its marketing, Pestana, a Portuguese tourism and leisure group that has 91 hotels and 12,000 rooms around the world, says that the CR7 branded hotel is “perfect for people who live for sport.” The New York location will cater to those sports fans with a fitness center, a schedule of live sports, healthy meals on-site, and more.

Rates will start at $91 dollars a night depending on the dates of stay.

The next Ronaldo-branded hotel is expected to open in Manchester, where Ronaldo spent much of his career, in 2023.
