IHG Hotels & Resorts has just opened Crowne Plaza Manhattan Times Square, the new Americas flagship property for the Crowne Plaza by IHG brand.

The premium blended stay hotel is designed for both business and leisure travel and is located steps from iconic New York City attractions such as Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Broadway, and Central Park.

“Our new flagship hotel for Crowne Plaza represents a defining moment for the brand. Guided by our New Modern design philosophy, every aspect of the traveler experience has been thoughtfully developed to meet the needs of today’s blended traveler – from flexible social spaces and elevated food and beverage offerings to signature experiences that are truly tailored to what the next generation of guests expect,” said Ginger Taggart, vice president of brand management – global premium brands at IHG Hotels & Resorts. “Crowne Plaza Manhattan Times Square represents our vision for the future of blended travel and ushers in the next chapter of our global growth.”

The 22-story hotel was originally constructed for the 1964 New York World’s Fair. It now features 685 city-view guest rooms, including the exclusive Broadway Suite, a top-floor penthouse with an expansive terrace. The hotel’s Manhattan Level also has an array of larger suites.

Crowne Plaza Manhattan Times Square’s dining options include Fifty-First Street Social, its all-day dining bar and restaurant, and 24/7 Market place for grab-and-go bites and round-the-clock televisions.

The hotel also offers programming such as the Crowne Plaza brand’s signature Weekly Socials, which brings guests and locals together through food, and Daily Rituals, a wellness program.
