Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana, a new adults-only, all-inclusive resort, has just opened in the Dominican Republic.
The opening marks the latest Hyatt Inclusive Collection (HIC) property to debut in the Caribbean and adds to a growing portfolio in the Dominican Republic specifically.
“The opening of Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana reflects both the continued strength of the Dominican Republic as one of the world’s premier leisure destinations and our long-term commitment to growing alongside it,” said Javier Águila, president of HIC. “We’re grateful to Grupo Anacaona for their trust in bringing the Hyatt Vivid brand to life in this important market. With 30 resorts and more than 16,000 rooms already in the Hyatt Inclusive Collection across the country, this opening further strengthens Hyatt’s leadership in all-inclusive hospitality while introducing a differentiated resort experience designed for guests seeking a more relaxed, flexible and socially connected way to travel.”
Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana features 467 guestrooms and suites designed with natural textures, neutral color palettes, and locally-inspired accents. For dining, there are five à la carte restaurants, an international food hall, and a bar and grill, a hidden speakeasy, and seven distinct bars and lounges. In addition, the Zenda Wellness Café complements the Zenda Spa.
The resort offers a variety of wellness and cultural programming, from creative workshops to the Local Tuk Tuk Moment, a Dominican-inspired social gathering and photo opportunity. Many of the programs blend food and wellness, such as Wave Hello to Wellness, which combines paddleboard yoga with wellness-focused nutrition on the Caribbean Sea, and Wellness Brew Sessions, which pairs premium Dominican coffee, healthy bites and live DJ sets. The property will also offer a “Paint Your Way In” art workshop culminating in exclusive access to the speakeasy.
