Dominican Republic’s Newest Resort, Serenade Punta Cana Beach, to Debut Next Month

The new all-inclusive Serenade Punta Cana Beach, Spa & Casino Resort in has set Dec. 10, 2020 as its target date for the soft opening.

Set on Playa Cabeza de Toro beach in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, Serenade Punta Cana features 603 rooms divided over seven, four-story buildings all with a terrace providing views of the Caribbean Sea, the property’s lush gardens, or swimming pools. Rooms are offered in 12 categories with the largest options accommodating six guests.

There will be á la carte and buffet-style restaurants, as well as eight bars, ranging from Central Plaza, the primary buffet restaurant serving international specialties, to The Cut steak house with grill and barbecue options. There will also be an Asian, Italian, and Mexican-themed á la carte restaurants.

In addition to direct access to the beach, the resort offers two swimming pools. The main pool has sun beds under umbrellas, a Jacuzzi and pool bar. The children’s pool features a splash park with water slides and games as well as an integrated Jacuzzi.

Guests can also spend their day with one of the free water sports offered on-site, including the hobie cats, paddle board, kayaking, windsurfers and snorkeling. Banana boat rides, parasailing, and fishing. Glass boat and charter boats are available for an additional charge.

Other amenities include a kid’s club and teen club, a 9,000 square foot spa, on-property disco, theater, and casino with table games including three blackjack, two roulette, two poker and one midi-baccarat tables and 25 slot machines.

In addition to the standard all-inclusive vacation, Serenade Punta Cana offers an elevated five-star experience with its “Serenade Preferred Club” featuring premium amenities to guests staying in top tier room categories – Ocean View Superior, Premium and Serenade suites – such as a Barista Workshop, cocktail master class, Exclusive Wine and Cava Tasting workshop, VIP area on the resort’s beach, and exclusive gourmet restaurant and lounge, among other things. The exclusive infinity pool with Jacuzzi and the rooftop pool at the Sunset Bar are available only to Serenade Preferred Club guests.
