Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is expanding its New York City footprint.

The boutique hospitality brand will open Kimpton Rockefeller Center by the end of 2025. With its proximity to some of New York’s most beloved cultural institutions, the hotel will give luxury travelers a prime starting location to explore the city.

“New York City has always been one of the world’s most exciting destinations, and we’re thrilled to be expanding Kimpton’s presence in this important market,” said Leanne Harwood, SVP, Managing Director for Luxury & Lifestyle Americas at IHG Hotels & Resorts. “With its unparalleled location in the center of the city, Kimpton Rockefeller Center will welcome guests with an inspiring boutique luxury setting while opening the door to the endless expansive experiences the destination has to offer.”

The 33-story, Midtown Manhattan hotel will feature 529 guest rooms, two restaurants, a lobby lounge, a rooftop bar, and a fitness center. It will also have two spaces for meetings and events.

Kimpton, an upscale IHG Hotels & Resorts brand, has two other properties in New York City: Kimpton Hotel Theta Times Square and Kimpton Hotel Eventi.
