Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London re-opened in its entirety, having completed the most extensive restoration in its 117-year history. In celebration of the opening on April 15, the property has launched the historical Stay Like Sir Winston Churchill package, as Sir Winston Churchill was a frequent guest. This package includes a bottle of Pol Roger champagne (a Churchill favorite), two chocolate cigars, and two Vices & Virtues cocktails. There is also an exhibition on display at the property, entitled If Walls Could Talk, showcasing highlights of the hotel’s illustrious past; available through December 31, 2019.

The Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como debuted April 15, 2019. Surrounded by a botanical garden designed after the gardens of famous villas around the lake, such as Villa Carlotta, Villa Melzi and Villa del Balbianello. A plastic-free resort, the Mandarin Oriental Lago di Como uses eco-friendly alternatives to plastic.

This summer, Mandarin Oriental, Paris will launch a 4,000 square foot Parisian Apartment suite, becoming one of the largest suites in Paris. Located on the 6th floor, the ‘Haussmann style’ suite overlooks the hotel’s inner garden and Rue Saint-Honoré. There will be four bedrooms and bathrooms, an expansive reception area, bright dining room and fully equipped kitchen. For flexibility, the suite can be divided into two connecting two-bedroom suites.

The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group will manage a second property in Istanbul, Turkey, slated to open in 2022. The new property will consist of three towers, two will house 251 luxurious Residences at Mandarin Oriental and the third will house 158 guestrooms and suites and 16 serviced apartments. The hotel will have three restaurants and bars, and a selection of adaptable meeting spaces with outdoor areas and terraces, ideal for hosting both business and leisure events. There will be two outdoor swimming pools with city skyline views, a fitness center and six beauty treatment rooms.
