Taj To Launch Travel Agent Portal, Add Luxury Hotels

Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces will launch a dedicated travel-agent portal in mid-2017, chief revenue officer Chinmai Sharma told Travel Market Report during the International Luxury Travel Mart (ILTM) opening today in Cannes.  The special section of a soon-to-come new website will enable agents to register, create profiles, make bookings, and expedite collecting commissions, he said. 

Next year will see the group open luxury hotels near the airports in Mumbai and Bangalore, as well as a safari camp in Nepal’s Chitwan National Park featuring 16 villas and a dozen hotel-style suites.
