Atlantis in Talks to Build Hawaii’s Most Expensive Resort

Atlantis may bring one of its famous resorts to Ko Olina, HI, reports Hawaii News Now.

The details are not yet finalized, but it’s expected to be Atlantis Resorts’ most expensive property–with a price tag over $2 billion.

With a similar feel to the Atlantis’ The Palm resort in Dubai, the property will reportedly have an interactive aquarium, dolphin encounter, and shark habitat. There will be a mix of hotel, condo, and timeshare units.

The project was originally announced in 2005, but never made it off the ground.
