The Ambassador Hotel of Waikiki has joined Tapestry Collection by Hilton, becoming the first Tapestry Collection-branded property in Hawaii.
The newly renovated, iconic hotel now benefits from being part of the Hilton Honors loyalty program while continuing its legacy of local charm and “This Is How We Waikiki” philosophy on the island of O’ahu.
“We’re thrilled to be the first property in Hawaii to join Tapestry Collection by Hilton, a brand that reflects our dedication to personalized hospitality rooted in a strong sense of place,” said Brandon Kaya, general manager of The Ambassador Hotel of Waikiki. “Our team is passionate about creating meaningful connections to local culture. It’s not just about where you stay—it’s about how you experience Waikiki, and we’re proud to share the spirit of the island with our guests.”
The Ambassador Hotel of Waikiki, Tapestry Collection – formerly Romer Waikiki at the Ambassador – features 268 rooms ranging from Waikiki’s only lofted bunkbed rooms to spacious two-bedroom suites. A tropical-inspired color palette graces the interiors, with subdued peaches, yellows, and greens, as well as a salt rock wall in the lobby.
Guests to the hotel enjoy the pool and cabana deck at Waikiki Swim & Social Club, the beach and bike cruiser rentals at Beach Candy Waikiki, and the all-day indoor-outdoor restaurant, Favorite Son.
