Bahamas Sandals To Close Temporarily
Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island in Nassau will close for two months starting Aug. 15.
The resort will reopen Oct. 13.
The abrupt closure is reportedly connected to an ongoing dispute between executives and the union representing the resort’s 500 employees.
Agents with clients scheduled to stay during that period can rebook to another Sandals or Beaches resort or rebook for a later date at no penalty. Sandals will cover airline change fees, as well as offer two additional complimentary night stays, valid for one year from the original date.
