Insight Vacations has announed “Encounters,” a new multi-platform series designed to spotlight the “authentic local stories” behind some of the company’s tours.

A part of TTC Tour Brands, Insight Vacations has been curating premium guided tours for over 45 years. The company focuses on curated classic and small group journeys, offer elevated, handpicked experiences and 4- and 5-star accomodations.

Insight Vacations’ new “Encounters” series aims to go “beyond the brochure” by using video, photography, and editorial content to celebrate the stories behind popular destination—offering in-depth trip insight. The series is produced in-house by Insight Vacations (with The Travel Corporation’s Tour Brands Marketing Lab team), and is hosted on Insight’s ‘Insightful’ blog, supported by digital SEO-friendly articles, YouTube episodes, and other short-form social media content.

The initial three episodes focus on Alaska, telling the stories of Martin Buser, a four-time Iditarod champion and world record-holding dog musher. Travelers can meet Buser in person on Insight Vacations’ Jewels of Alaska tour.

Insight Vacations created “Encouters” to drive brand awarness and drive engagement; already the lead episode already has over 112,000 views at the time of writing.

“We created Encounters to champion the human connections that define truly enriching travel,” said Lottie Norman, Global chief marketing officer of Insight Vacations. “In a world of quick scrolls and fleeting impressions, we wanted to pause and tell real stories, in depth, with beauty, purpose, and soul. These are the people who bring our destinations to life, and Encounters is how we honor them.”
